My boyfriend & two of his equally weird & talented friends are currently putting on an art show at Edge Gallery in Winnipeg. There is still a few days left if you want to check it out. There is a lot of great art for sale from all three boys as well as some neat stuff available from other artists in the gallery. Support your local artists & venues!

You can follow Randy & his art on Facebook here. He is a prolific artist who draws every single evening after work until bed time. Starting in July he will be working part time at his day job so he can focus more on his freelance art work. He's wanted to be able to do this for years so I'm really excited that it's happening for him.

It will be a big change for us financially but I know the end result will be worth it. Our motto for 2011 is "life is short, do what makes you happy." And for both of us, happiness is living creatively every day. We'll just have to be more creative with our money as well.
